Spencer Sessions
Spencer Sessions, former business development specialist for the Arkansas Department of Economic Development, currently works for TVA’s Economic Development as regional development specialist for Memphis and the West Tennessee region.
His responsibilities include working with distributor customers of TVA power, community leaders, and state and regional economic development partners to create, sustain and foster job growth.
At the Arkansas Department of Economic Development, Sessions was one of five project managers responsible for state-wide industrial recruitment, and he worked to support growth and expansion among existing industries in the central Arkansas region and Little Rock.
Sessions also has prior experience in physician and medical staff recruitment with General Emergency Medical Services in Little Rock, Ark., and has served as a business liaison for Arkansas U. S. Senator Tim Hutchinson. He has a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Baylor University and has completed Economic Development Institute coursework at the University of Oklahoma.
