Mike Evans
Mike Evans is the Executive Director of the Montgomery County Industrial Development Board, a position he has held since October 1999. As the Executive Director, he is responsible for recruiting new business to the area and marketing the Clarksville-Montgomery County Corporate Business Park and Commerce Park, Central Tennessee’s Megasite. Mike also works extensively with existing industry on workforce training, expansion plans, and other needs.
Mike is a graduate of Clarksville High School and Austin Peay State University where he earned a B.S. in Accounting. Prior to his work with the Economic Development Council, Mike had a successful 23-year career with the Zinc Plant. Mike started his career in Clarksville over 30 years ago with the public accounting firm, Stone & Rudolph.
Mike has served on the Board of Directors for the Jaycee’s, the United Way Budget and Allocations Committee, and is a graduate of Leadership Clarksville. Currently, Mike is a Board Member of the Tennessee Economic Development Council and the Tennessee Economic Partnership. He is also a member of the Southern Economic Development Council and the International Asset Management Council.
Mike and his wife, Mary Michael, have 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren. They are members of Immaculate Conception Church.
