TEDC Board Meeting Minutes

Members present: Wood, Theiss, Denton, Spurgeon, Lawyer, Herbison.    Kayla Taylor and Sharon Younger with Younger and Associates were also present.

Spurgeon called the meeting to order at 4:00.  There were no minutes or financials to review.  

There was a brief discussion of the agenda for the Spring Conference.   Wood would present to membership the results of the Day on the Hill Subcommittee, noting that 50% of Legislators attended the day on the hill reception last year. 

There was discussion about the TEDC membership meeting, and it was decided that the following items would be covered:

• Day on the Hill report – Walt Wood
• Financial overview – Doug Lawyer
• Incentive Study update – Kyle Spurgeon
• Election of Officers – Kyle Spurgeon

Finally, there was brief discussion about the Fall Conference, and it was suggested that a presentation be given about how to effectively communicate/lobby your state legislators, possibly including a couple of legislators on a panel discussion.
