TEDC Membership

The Tennessee Economic Development Council was created to unite the efforts of its members in furthering business development in Tennessee, and to promote cooperation and understanding between members and the areas they represent. TEDC is the statewide organization for both public and private sector professionals involved in economic development. There are currently more than 340 TEDC members.

TEDC offers its members a variety of educational, informational and networking activities. In simplest terms, it is a group of people from many vocational and professional backgrounds who are vitally interested in Tennessee's economic growth.

If you are currently actively engaged in economic development within the state of Tennessee, you may apply for membership. Membership may be granted to more than one individual from a particular agency, organization or firm. Memberships reside with the individual rather than with the organization.

MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS

Meetings of the general membership are held semi-annually in the spring and fall. Officers and directors are elected at the spring meeting. The programs are balanced among legislative, professional and business concerns that affect Tennessee's economic development.
