GRANTS PLANNER
Hamilton County General Government will be accepting applications for the following position from Monday, June 15, 2009 until the position is filled.
(1) GRANTS PLANNER #1136 – DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT - Employees in this classification are under general supervision to perform professional planning and grants development for current and future community needs. Work includes the evaluation and review of complex information, the preparation of comprehensive plans for Emergency Management, and the preparation of grant applications to obtain funds for water, sewer, emergency management-homeland security, recreation, law enforcement, social services, economic development and other local government areas. Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Public Administration, Planning, Political Science and other behavioral science degrees in a closely related field plus two (2) years experience in planning related duties to include grant development experience. Applicant must be able to effectively communicate in both oral and written form.
RANGE: $42,105 - $52,631
