Job Description

The Executive Director serves as the chief paid employee, is responsible for the management of the Authority and is accountable to a five-member Executive Committee. The Executive Director oversees the day-to-day operations including: financial management, outside contractors, employees, local & professional meetings & conventions, business incubator management & development, community/public relations/prospect development with primary emphasis on creating employment opportunities at PowerCom Industrial Center and within the Four Lake Region comprised of Macon, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale & Wilson Counties in Middle TN.

Qualifications

Any combination of training & experience substantially equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree and/or senior executive or manager with four or more years in economic development, political, community, governmental affairs or other management areas. Polished verbal, presentational & written communication skills a must.
